| The Azienda Agricola Moncucchetto
is placed in the North of the Monferrato Astigiano and is extended
on a hilly area of 15 hectars, all worked at wineyard.
The exposition at midday, the particular characteristics
of the field (calcareous and clayey ) joined at the traditional
type of cultivate of vine "guyot", are allowing
to give excellent wines respecting the taste and the perfums
of the land monferrina.
Just an example: Barbera d’Asti
is our production mark; a very important type of Barbera d’Asti
is "La Pinota" selectioned and refined into barriques.
Among other tipycal wines there’s "Malvasia"
spumante and cork smooth, with Solatio, a raisin wine got
from a later vintage of only bunches of Malvasia choosen.
Since ever Cascina Moncucchetto produces excellent wines in
the strict respect of the ancient wines traditions of Piedmont.
